I had a wonderful time staying at Cromwell’s Hideaway. I wanted somewhere peaceful I could retire to at the end of a day’s course so I chose 3 nights at the Hideaway and it didn’t disappoint me. It was warm and cosy even in the rain, with the underfloor heating and the log burner. I was lucky one evening to be able to light the fire pit, eat outside and watch the stars. There is everything there you could possibly need, lovely coffee and breakfast all provided. I will be visiting again very soon. Karen is a lovely host and made sure everything was there for me. This review although posted by me was dictated by my sister Tracey.
We stayed at this delightful little shepherds hut for two nights. Prosecco in the fridge and continental breakfast for the first morning provided. The bed comfortable and the hut equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean.
The hut itself is in a secluded area, the view from the window is beautiful. We closed the gate behind us when we arrived and opened it again on the day we left. We just wanted to chill and spend quality time together and that’s exactly what we did! We went nowhere and did nothing. The weather was lovely so we enjoyed breakfast outside and evening meals were cooked on the fire pit.
We so enjoyed this mini break, we would absolutely recommend Cromwell’s Hideaway .
If you want comfortable quirky accommodation, fantastic views, and a time to slow it all down with no distractions visit Cromwell’s Hideaway; you will love it!

My partner booked this as a little surprise for me and wow what an amazing surprise it was. We were greeted by Karen who was so friendly and gave us recommendations of places to visit. The hut itself is amazing, very cosy, there was a beautiful welcome basket of goodies along with everything we could possibly need. It is nice and secluded overlooking amazing views and very quiet and peaceful. The seating area was very cosy outside with a firepit for the chillier evening. Inside the log burner and underfloor heating would have kept us very warm had we needed it (we were blessed with very nice weather). The hut was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the water nice and hot. We would highly recommend Cromwell's Hideaway to anyone and we look forward to booking again. Thank you Karen and Dave for an amazing place to stay.

What a beautiful and peacful place to stay. A birthday treat from my husband and what a treat it was. So quite and calm waking up to birds singing in the trees. Karen and Dave were very friendly and helpful. They were happy to recommend places of interest for long walks and restaurants for us. Delishious continental breakfast, Welsh cakes and Prosecco on arrival and beautiful, luxurious toiletries for us to use too.Everything was lovely and clean and a very soft comfy bed. what more could you ask for? I would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back. x

Simply the most gorgeous location and shepherd's hut. The owners were professional and helpful. The hut itself if really well-equipped, spotlessly clean and we wanted to take the shower back, it was so effective! The welcome pack was the best ever, and we really enjoyed our time here.

Simply perfect! Really calm area and great views all around. Perfect for a few relaxing days and still has a lot of activities to do around and places to visit. The hut is super comfortable and has everything needed plus a few sweet details! Couldn't recommend enough!!
