Even on a rainy day in December, Raglan remains a superb example of a castle. There's a moat, keep and towers in a well kept surrounding. Free car parking too.

Staff very friendly. It was drizzling and they let us borrow an umbrella.
We bought the family pack so we were able to vist a good number of castles.

Beautiful castle! If you are able, try to climb the two towers for nice views of the surrounding fields. 🏰

Good day out if it is dry as most of it is open.
We went on a very rainy day and it was really quiet so it felt like we had the castle to ourselves which was nice.
It's a little bit pricey. The history of the caslte is actually very interesting.
The staff is lovely.

This is such an amazing, beautiful castle, with most of it it tact. If you love history and architecture, then Raglan Castle is the perfect place, but with beauty thrown in. There are such stunning views from the top of the castle all around with wildlife thrown in. There are nests of swifts in the grounds. Its truly beautiful.
Raglan Castle has a beautiful gift shop where you can also buy drinks and snacks. They also have easily accessible toilets on the grounds. They also have a big car park so you shouldn't need to worry about parking. The prices to enter the castle were pretty good and affordable for families.
All in all, it's a great day out. You won't be disappointed. It's one of the best castles I have seen.

Lovely castle that is a 2 minute detour from our journey. Great place to stop off and stretch your legs for a bit. Dog friendly, so he got a nice stroll around as well. Must be kept on lead at all times though. Bathrooms there, no snacks though other than what the gift shop sells. Somewhat accessible for wheelchairs, but some bits totally not due to it being a ruins. Stopped here before a few years back and would stop again, bit pricey for entry though in my opinion.

A last minute find and we were very happy with this find! We were greeted by a beautiful cat when we arrived. The gentleman behind the till was welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the castle, lots of things to explore. It had been a rainy weekend so was slippery in some parts so good footwear a must. Saw people with dogs so safe to assume a dog friendly venue. Toilets available and a reasonably priced gift shop.

amazing!!!! easy to find, ample parking and £16 for both of us to get in; lots of benches with lovely views, clean toilets and a lovely little shop; and the castle is EPIC!!! we spent 3 hours wandering around, going down passages and climbing up towers exploring once of the best castles I've ever been to!

One of the most unique and fascinating castles I've ever had the pleasure to explore. From the one of a kind tower built outside the curtain wall with its own moat, to the aggressive crenellations, this place just looks like it was built for war. So imposing.
